Featuring the Dragon’s Teeth
“… concrete pyramids, much larger than the usual dragons’ teeth, were erected alongside the causeway during the Second World War to prevent enemy boats coming through the gap between Cramond and Cramond Island.” Anne Burgess

Took my grandchildren to Cramond Island a couple of years ago and told them islands history, whereupon my granddaughter hugged a concrete pillar and said it was very old and saved us! Not sure many people think they’re hugging material! But it is a great place to explore, especially for kids.
